This page explains what data I collect through romaniacuaripi.ro, why, and what you can do about it. Written to be read, not to exhaust you.

What I collect
Your email address — nothing else — if you enter it in the form on the front page. I don't ask for your name, phone number or anything else.
This site uses no cookies and no tracking tools. Fonts are self-hosted, so your browser makes no request to Google or any third party when you visit.
Why, and on what legal basis
So I can send you the launch announcement. The legal basis is your consent — Article 6(1)(a) of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) — given by subscribing and confirmed by clicking the link in the confirmation email (double opt-in).
Who else has access
I use two services as processors:
- Kit (Kit.com Inc., USA) — stores the mailing list and sends the messages. Your address goes to them directly when you press subscribe.
- Cloudflare (Cloudflare, Inc.) — hosts the site and serves the pages.
Both are United States companies, so data is transferred outside the European Union. The transfer relies on the Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission and on the data processing agreements in place with each provider.
I do not sell, rent or share your address with anyone else.
How long I keep it
Until you unsubscribe, or until I close the project. Every email I send contains an unsubscribe link that works instantly. If you never confirm, the address is deleted automatically.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to access your data, to rectification, to erasure ("right to be forgotten"), to restriction of processing, to data portability, to object, and to withdraw your consent at any time.
To exercise any of these, write to contact@romaniacuaripi.ro. I reply within 30 days at the latest.
If you are not satisfied with how I handled your request, you may lodge a complaint with the Romanian supervisory authority, ANSPDCP — dataprotection.ro — or with the authority in your own country.
Changes
If I change anything material about how data is processed, I update this page and the date above.
